Giant Tiger, 80’s Madness and some Jazz Flute ;)

So it has been a fun month, playing with a variety of bands- Retro Electro, Angel Up Front, The Southbank Jam and Nessie + The SuperLounge 5.
I Played the Blue Lagoon for the first time this Month with Nessie and the SuperLounge5- a great jazz band who have a new fortnightly residency on a Sunday evening. It went so well that they asked me to join them again the following fortnight- see the video below,  with a cheeky Jazz Flute Solo from 5.20 …

The 27th November saw a Sold out gig at The Thunderbolt in Bristol with Retro Electo, where i had the pleasure of blasting out some great 80’s Tenor Sax Solo’s!

I have also joined the SouthBank Jam Band who play at the Southbank Club the Last Thursday evening of each month. We had rehearsed some songs beforehand by Jamiroquai, Jose James and Danger Mouse.

Jam Night SouthBank Club

On the 14th November, Angel Up Front played The Portcullis in Fishponds,  which turned out to be a VERY eventful gig,  with someone chipping their tooth from dancing too hard, someone getting excited about playing tambourine and falling over, and then the landlord brought out a GIANT TIGER! I had great fun! But I wasn’t allowed to take him home with me. 😦

But no worries as Ben (The Bassist) after going away for a week brought me back a present of ‘ChristmasCuddles’ the extremely fluffy dog. YAY!  😀 I have named him Cuddles- see him below checking out that evening’s set list.
